The 2nd Honeymoon

The 2nd Honeymoon
Can u see our tired faces? Well, we know we owe the Sanding pics first but too bad, we have our Bali Honeymoon photos on hand first so here goes.. Anyways, yes, the tired faces was because our flight was at 630 am and we had to be at the airport at 430 am, and we had just finished our reception, which means....WE DIDNT SLEEP!

Finally in the aircraft. Lionair was small and crampy, and definitely sleeping was a very uncomfortable and difficult process but we were very very tired. In 2 hours time we will be in Bali!! So SLEEP NOW!

Ahhh yes....we are in beautiful Bali. Faz's Bibik fetch us from the airport and dragged us to Tanah Lot to view the land and stable tht she intends to buy. Buy a LAND?! Can u imagine tht? Tired as we were, we were still glad tht our first day did not go to waste by going back to her villa ( Yes! Villa!) and just sleep. What am i holding? Bibik's and her daughters pet SNAKES! Yes, i said PETS!

Bibik's beautiful daugthers, Camilla and Amelia and of cos with their lovely, slimy pets. Oh did i mention the white peed on me? Yes, snakes pee funny. Heh.

Here are some shots of that beautiful land, overlooking the sea. Imagine building a house here, and building ur very own house and having a private beach all to yourself. I loved it. We loved it!

And that's us. Happily in love, but tired future mummy and daddy!

Next we went to look at Bibik's Horses. Hubby is riding on Billy i think. Or is it Laura? Whichever it is, Hubby is sure bored riding a horse.

And yes, below are some shots of Bibik's Villa. Villa!! Open air concept, few walls, and wind wind wind all day long! I wanna live here!

And at night, we stopover to Bibik's Cafe where her first daughter, Zee, is handling. It's called Caz Cozy Cafe and it damn sure was COZY! Food was good too and DIRT CHEAP!

My Super Hubby....hehehehehe

We didnt exactly stayed at Bibik's Villa, during the whole trip. Its a bit far from Kuta (it's at Sanur) and its a twenty minute ride from home to Legian, where Zee's Cafe was. So we decided to book a hotel for 2 nights at Kuta Puri Resort. Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view. Pics later will be shown. Before that, Bibik brought her horses to Seminyak beach, furtherdown from Kuta, with a much better waves and more beautiful and breathtaking sunset. We enjoyed riding the horses along the beach and yes, me the preggo lady with the help of two studious men, managed to get on the horse and go for one round of guided trotting!

That's Bibik and in the middle is the ever-so-cute...LIANA!
Aint she an angel?
Look how beautiful the waters run.....
And that's Zee!! Bibik's bubbly first!

....................................
And below are our proud collections of very amateur but fine shots of the beautiful Seminyak. Enjoy!

Happy Happy!

Hiak Doosh!

The beautiful Liana again. Some areas are prohibited from swimming and they put up red flags. Look at the Kaypoh Liana running towards hubby......

Im coming.....
Im nearing...........
Bam! im in the SHOT!
Monkey see Monkey do!

Oh yes. throughout the trip, i have been the source of a good laff with my toy helmet so here is a classic shot for ol'times sake ppl. Honey stop laffing....

And below are just a few shots of the hotel view we manged to capture on our last day. Boo hoo!
In fact, we still do feel sad thinking abt it. Me and hubby felt miserable leaving.....

And my last Bakso treat along Kuta Beach. Sigh Sigh....

Oh this monyet belongs to one of Zee's staff, Indah. It's sleeping and it's amazing tht it didnt fall off the bike like dat......

Most of the time spent in Bali were shopping. We didnt go to the local shops for bargaining sessions. We went for boutique sales located off Kuta, which has original apparels and at 90% discount. Hubby was like a small boy, choosing all the good stuffs. Shopping was the highlight of the trip. We were like rich ppl in Bali while the prices are lower than we thot.
Last day in Bali was terrible. The day went fine, but we felt terrible leaving. Spore is indeed a beautiful country, but chasing the Cs and power and material, we realise is not our thing. We enjoy the carefree life, appreciating Nature and the wonderful Greens.... Hubby was beginning to feel depressed coming back.... We had a great dinner at Jimbaran, Seafood by the Sea, with Bibik and Zee before we made our way to the airport. We can't believe it was over too soon.

Yup, we rode a dockar (carriage) to Jimbaran. Like how cool is that!

And here we are, at Jimbaran, our last evening in this beautiful place.....

....................................
SIGH
.................................................................

Yes, we tried our best to look happy to come back, but only God knows how we feel inside. 2-4 years time k baby? Insya allah....

And with that, we leave our trails of footsteps along Kuta, Bali. And we definitely will come back soon. And this has got to be the best FIRST trip of me and hubby. and im looking forward for more to come.
I love you Fazli

And we miss you, Bali
