It's not exactly major.

But.

A married couple's fight is different from a dating couple's.

Nastier words are expressed.

Patience depleted faster than usual.

Ignore. With a heart pain is common.

Few hours of no-talk. Few weeks are common for longer married couples.

A fight is still a fight. And someone needs to give in. And someone needs to accept the giving.

It wasn't a major one. But the feeling is different.

Being married, means we have to look forward to more fights like this. And overcome it. Together.

But in the end, Love Conquers All.

First & Foremost, we would like to say Happy 1 Month as Husband & Wife to none other then.....US!! We survived!

And before we got married, the Husband had pre-warned the wife that she shall not put on weight. She has to maintain her figure and be healthy at all times.

And then there was this Guess Jeans that she saw last Sunday, that she really wanted.........

And thus, this Agreement was created and agreed upon.

About Being Married.....

Means to be Overly Excited....

And it all started with our mini-honeymoon at Sentosa. We're still deciding if photos can be posted as they are really, really, for our own personal viewing pleasure.

3 days of honey-mooning as husband and wife made us overly excited. My still red-hennanised fingers, resulting in stares from people and staffs of Sentosa whispering..."Baru kahwin agaknyer..." Lo & Behold, the power of Henna!

And then tht time of the month came.....which never did come. Thoughts rush through our heads... Could it be? And he keeps binging on all the sweet stuffs. Is that a sign?

1st Day of being late, we went, "Ooops! We did it?", "At only one time? That possible?"

2nd Day of being late, we went, "We have to think of something...how abt our sanding? But if have, have lah...we don't mind..."

3rd Day of being late, we went, " We always complain that we're a boring Couple. Maybe this is God's way of making life intersting for us..."

4th Day of being late, we went, " How abt _____ if it's a Boy? ____ for a girl sounds nice too huh?"

and so this went on.......until....

8th day of being late, the Wife called the Husband,

"Yang.....i came today...."

"What....Oh no....."

And the husband added later that day when the wife asked how he felt....

"I felt more of a disappointment than a relief..."

We shall try again.

Conclusion: Overly Excited.

Reason Being: The Wife miscalculated. She was only late for 2 or 3 days. Slap me!

And to be Overly Excited also Means.....

We applied for a HDB on 11th Feb for Sector C. And the Wife vividly remembers having the Customer Service Officer saying that results of the ballot queue number will be out within 5 working days. Which she calculated as 18th Feb. Today.

And she pins her hopes on it so much today till she checked the website and it clearly stated results are out on 21st Feb. Just like her friend said too, since she applied for the same. And she didn't believe, till her husband called. To tell her the same thing.

Yet again, she miscalculated.

She sighed and decided to blog this......About Being Married...

We would like to thank my cousin Kak Lina, for doing up this video for us. Short and simple.

And though we're still newly-weds, when we watch this together....he turned to look at me with his eyes filled with love, kiss me, and squeeze my hand. I, in turn, will start tearing up, especially at the part where he recited his vows after the Kadi.

Still sends shivers up our spine. The feeling till now overwhelms me. And only he understands, why i cried when he said his vows, why i cried when i kissed his hand, why i cried when he kissed my forehead.
